BEC Arabia, a leader in construction, infrastructure, and engineering, is seeking a highly experienced Technical - Structural Team Leader to join our Technical Department in Khobar. As the Structural Team Leader, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, driving collaboration and excellence across all project phases. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), ARAMCO standards, and other relevant regulations, while also championing the adoption of cutting-edge tools like BIM and structural analysis software. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of designs and solutions for complex projects.
• Develop and review detailed structural designs, calculations, and drawings in compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, including ARAMCO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement advanced tools and methodologies, including BIM and structural analysis software like ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and SAP2000.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide expert guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and client review.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of structural solutions.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to technical proposals and client presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and SAFE.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), ARAMCO standards, and international codes (ACI, AISC, BS).
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Demonstrated expertise in BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Experience with green building standards such as LEED or Mostadam.
• Familiarity with ARAMCO-approved vendor processes.
• Prior experience in smart city projects or giga-projects under Saudi Vision 2030.

Working Conditions

• Office-based role in Khobar, with periodic site visits to active construction projects.
• Standard working hours, with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
• Travel to project sites within Saudi Arabia as required.
• Compliance with safety standards, including the use of PPE during site visits.
