About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Inventory Department as Laborers in Khobar. As part of a critical support team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling, organization, and movement of materials and supplies for our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory operations, directly impacting the success of our projects across the Kingdom.

Working under the supervision of experienced inventory managers, you will gain hands-on experience in material handling, stock organization, and logistics support. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the unloading, loading, and transportation of materials and supplies within the inventory yard and project sites.
• Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated areas to ensure accessibility and orderliness.
• Support inventory checks by accurately counting and recording materials as directed by supervisors.
• Operate basic material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill material requests for various construction and engineering projects.
• Report damaged or missing inventory items to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the inventory storage areas.
• Prepare materials for dispatch to project sites, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with Saudi Labor Law and GOSI requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within construction, warehousing, or logistics.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and material handling practices.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compliance with GOSI and Saudi Labor Law requirements for KSA-based roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
• Previous experience in a construction or engineering firm.
• Basic understanding of inventory management systems or software.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) compliance as it relates to materials.
• Proficiency in basic Arabic or English communication.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily conducted in an outdoor inventory yard or warehouse environment.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, dust, and humidity, typical of Khobar.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, and safety boots is mandatory.
• Standard work hours with occasional overtime based on project demands.
• Physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, is a core part of the role.
