Technical - Project Manager

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Khobar. As a key leader within the HO Projects Department, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with BEC Arabia's commitment to excellence and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work on iconic developments that contribute to Saudi Vision 2030, including smart cities, commercial complexes, and government mega-projects.

In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will also play a pivotal role in integrating advanced project management methodologies and digital tools, such as Primavera P6 and BIM, into our operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of construction and infrastructure projects, from initiation to closeout, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using advanced tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions to address deviations from plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Saudi Building Code (SBC), GOSI, and Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) requirements.
• Oversee risk management processes, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
• Implement digital construction technologies, including BIM, to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
• Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and documentation to senior management and clients.
• Foster a culture of safety by adhering to ISO 45001 standards and promoting best practices on-site.
• Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiations, to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and training initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 45001 and quality management systems like ISO 9001.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Saudi Vision 2030 projects or similar giga-projects.
• Certification in BIM (Building Information Modeling) or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
• Knowledge of advanced risk management tools and methodologies.
• Experience working with ARAMCO-approved vendor standards.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Working Conditions

• This role is office-based in Khobar with regular visits to construction sites.
• Frequent interaction with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Occasional travel within Saudi Arabia to oversee project sites and attend client meetings.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required during site visits.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including high temperatures, during site inspections.
