About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking experienced and highly skilled Electrical Foremen to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee and manage electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities on some of the Kingdom's most iconic construction and infrastructure projects. You will lead a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring that all work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into large-scale projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising on-site electrical work, ensuring compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and project specifications, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians and technicians to complete electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), project specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to align electrical work with overall project timelines and goals.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments.
- Monitor the progress of electrical work on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including daily reports, work logs, and material usage.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Order and manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize project delays.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, including the use of PPE and adherence to ISO 45001 standards.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure all electrical work meets the required standards and specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical work, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installations in commercial and industrial projects.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant regulations.
- Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Compliance with GOSI requirements for KSA-based roles.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, including ISO 45001 and NEBOSH guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Electrical Safety or Advanced Electrical Systems.
- Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of green building standards such as Mostadam or LEED.
- Familiarity with smart city technologies and integration of IoT in electrical systems.
- Advanced training in BIM for electrical systems.
Working Conditions
- Role is based on-site in Riyadh, with exposure to construction environments.
- Requires wearing PPE and adhering to strict safety protocols at all times.
- Work involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting, in outdoor and indoor settings.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
