About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a seasoned Inventory Team Leader to oversee and optimize inventory operations for our Riyadh-based projects. As a key member of the Inventory Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and efficiency of materials and equipment critical to our construction and infrastructure initiatives. This position is integral to supporting BEC Arabia’s commitment to delivering world-class projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

In this role, you will lead a team of inventory specialists, implement best practices in inventory control, and collaborate with procurement, project management, and site teams to maintain seamless operations. You will also have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects with prestigious clients such as NEOM, Saudi Aramco, and the Royal Commission, contributing to the success of transformative developments across the Kingdom. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the inventory team, ensuring accurate tracking and management of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and generate regular reports to support decision-making and project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Supervise inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement digital tools and systems, such as ERP software, to enhance inventory management processes.
  • Train and mentor team members to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast material requirements and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, including ISO 45001 and OSHA guidelines, in all inventory operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and other regulatory requirements for KSA-based roles.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Experience working on mega-projects or with clients such as NEOM, Saudi Aramco, or the Royal Commission.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for inventory reporting.
  • Knowledge of green building standards (LEED, Mostadam) and sustainable supply chain practices.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (MBA).

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with regular visits to project sites and warehouses.
  • May require occasional regional travel within the Kingdom.
  • Exposure to construction site environments, requiring adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
  • Standard working hours with flexibility for project demands.
  • Climate considerations typical of Riyadh, including high temperatures during summer months.
