About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the logistics and supply chain operations for our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Riyadh. As a key member of the Logistics Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to support the successful execution of our projects. This position is integral to maintaining BEC Arabia's reputation for operational excellence and on-time project delivery.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and external vendors to develop and implement logistics strategies that align with our organizational goals and the ambitious targets of Saudi Vision 2030. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team, leveraging advanced logistics technologies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including Saudi Labor Law and GOSI requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment for construction projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials across multiple project sites in Riyadh and the surrounding regions.
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain performance by analyzing key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and safety standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to align logistics operations with project schedules and material requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with transportation providers, warehouses, and other logistics service providers to achieve cost savings and service excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and oversee the use of logistics management software to enhance operational efficiency and real-time tracking.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
  • Manage risk by developing contingency plans for potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental sustainability practices in logistics operations, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software such as SAP, Oracle Transportation Management, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001).
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain optimization and cost control.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
  • Certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 mega-projects.
  • Familiarity with green logistics practices and sustainability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) integration in logistics planning.

Working Conditions

  • This role is office-based in Riyadh with regular visits to construction sites.
  • Requires occasional regional travel within the Kingdom.
  • Work may involve exposure to construction site conditions, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Standard working hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
  • The role involves working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
